Elvis --sleepy eyes, side burns, deep voice and expressive lips. The big event of the fifties (1956) was Elvis Presley on the Ed Sullivan show.    We wanted to hear him  sing and watch him move. But  Ed Sullivan wouldn't let the cameras film Elvis's jerky legs.  It was disappointing that we didn't get to see all his cool moves...but exciting anyway. Elvis Has Left the Building WAV - 73 KB
